Hello World,
We've got big plans for railed. We want to develop a monster application with tonnes of plugins so companies can pick and choose the plugins which suit their needs. So many Rails applications are popping up all over the place which is great because the quality of the web is benefiting hugely from it.
The web certainly doesn't need another business management app, but we're making one anyway for the following reasons:
- We want to involve Universities in the UK with the development of this application in form of innovative and exiting plug-ins. Allowing students to tackle one particular area with the overall support of a stable architecture will help to increase the status of projects and promote railed.
- We want to provide our current clients and new ones a professional web based application with the option of custom features specific for their needs.
